An Italian tourist was detained in Istanbul on Sunday for allegedly publishing information on the inteet about the baed PKK Kurdish separatist group, which Turkish officials consider to be a terrorist organization.
Giovaa Lanzavecchia, a 24-year-old from Milan, was detained at an inteet café in the city before being taken to a detention centre for foreigners while she awaits expulsion, Ansa reported, citing consulate sources.
Turkish newspapers reported that she had arrived in Istanbul a few days earlier and was staying in a hotel in the Sultanahmet district.

She allegedly published photos of armed PKK militants online.
